Cragg Vale 14.01.14


Dibaeis baeomyces. I found this lichen growing on a large rock and I just had to include on here because it is so pretty.




Microscopic view of the lichen. Asci spored, fusiform, 12-18 x 2.5-3 microns. 


White Brain (Exidia thuretiana) above and basidia below. This patch must now be approximately 35 cm across. 





Fragrant Funnel (Clitocybe fragrans). This was peeping out of a mossy wall.


Wood Oysterling (Melanotus horizontalis) - found on a cut face of a log.
