Dodge Royd Woods 10th September 2014

Peachysteve and I had a walk with the dogs and found these wonderful fungi below.

Aniseed Funnel (Clitocybe odora) above and below. They were stunningly beautiful, the colour was amazing and they had a lovely aniseed aroma to them.

Rosy Bonnet (Mycena rosea).

Common Puffball (Lycoperdon perlatum).

Buttercap (Rhodocollybia butyracea). When you touch the cap it should feel greasy.

Velvet Shield  (Pluteus umbrosus) above and below.

Sulphur Tuft (Hypholoma fasciculare).

Beech Knight (Tricholoma sciodes) above and two below.

The edge of the gill is black.

Peppery Bolete (Chalciporous piperatus) above and below. It does taste very peppery too.
